Our 31st Anniversary! Well here we are! These photos are from our visit to Ohio this summer. We don't have any real recent ones yet, as I got a slight hernia the day before our Anniversary. So, we couldn't go out that day--Dec. 4th. But we did have a nice time for Dad's birthday, Dec. 3rd. Sam & Steph & Ang & Juls & of course Judah & Violet were with us. It was a great day!!! I think Dad's going to take me out to dinner this week. That should be fun! He wants to take me to these pretty gardens called "Descanso Gardens" sometime too.

FOR AIMEE

In Italy, long ago
An angel was born
As pure as snow

In the wee night hours
Pouring rain & shining moon
An angel appeared
And filled the room
A tiny babe
So sweet & pure
A little angel, our daughter--
Aimee her name
Beloved she is
Bringing love that Christmas,
And ever since.

Her voice like the angels
Her smile so divine
Her spirit so lovely
I know she’s not mine.
She must be from Heaven
How else can explain
How beautiful she is,
How unearthly, this refrain:
Aimee, beloved,
is her name.
